Fundraising

We receive no financial support from the government, surviving primarily from the financial help of grants, donations and financial sacrifices made by staff and parents. Fundraising is fundamental to the Kindergarten's existence and we run regular fundraising events throughout the year.

Fairs - Each year we have a Christmas and Spring fair. These take place in Canton with gifts, crafts, games, food and lots more to keep the whole family entertained. These fairs bring in the money which we use for the day to day running costs of the Kindergarten and so is central to our funding throughout the year.

Bursary Fund

We are dedicated to social inclusivity and our new Bursary Fund enables children of parents with lower incomes to enjoy Steiner Education at the Centre.

Cafe - Every Thursday a group of parents from the Kindergarten bake cakes and run a cafe at St John's Church in Cardiff city centre. The money we raise allows us to run the bursary scheme. Through this scheme, parents on lower incomes can apply for up to 50% off their child care costs.
