Class Assistant
We are looking for a Class Assistant on a fixed term contract to start January 2022 until 13 July 2022

You’ll work mainly with Class Ty Seren – a class of 16 children aged 6 to 7 as they move up from our Kindergartens (Early Years) into our youngest School Class. You’ll be working alongside a very experienced Steiner Class Teacher, so the position offers a great opportunity to support your professional development and training, and build your ability towards becoming a teacher if desired.
Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday) term-time only
Salary: £8.91 per hour plus statutory holiday pay (equivalent to £9.99 per hour)
About You
You’ll have proven experience of supporting children’s learning, including children with Additional Learning Needs. You’ll know how to support and be a helping hand, yet also lead a small group on your own. You’ll have an understanding of children’s learning and behaviour and be able to able support differentiation and engage and motivate children. You’ll be a good communicator, organised, responsible and self-motivated, and work well with colleagues, parents and carers.
