Ameli plays a leading role in Upper School and in coordinating the delivery of the Certificate of Steiner Education (NZCSE).
Ameli has over 15 years of experience as an Upper School Teacher and previously taught at the Rudolf Steiner Schools in Skandenborg and Aarhus in Denmark, as well as teaching Geography and German in state sixth from colleges in Denmark. Prior to joining Cardiff Steiner School she was part of the team building a state-funded Steiner Upper School in Aarhus, Denmark.
Ameli teaches Geography, Earth and Social Sciences to our Upper School students – encompassing both physical and social, cultural, economical and political geography – alongside our Upper School team of specialist subject teachers, to deliver the broad and rich Upper School curriculum.
Ameli has a BA in Geography and a MSc in Cultural Studies (First Class) from the University of Edinburgh. She completed her Steiner Teacher Training at the Inovalis Rudolf Steiner Seminar in Skanderborg, Denmark and is also a qualified, secondary, subject-specialist teacher (PGDE) both in the UK and Denmark.
Ameli is committed to supporting each individual child and young adult in their development – providing a warm and collaborative environment in which growth can take place and creativity unfold. She really enjoys co-working with Upper School students, both as a teacher and as a mentor.
