Ally brings a decade of experience in additional learning needs and therapeutic education to her role as Upper School Learning Support Teacher at Cardiff Steiner School. Her background includes working in Learning Support across mainstream schools, specialist autism units and a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), alongside two years supporting young adults with ASD at Coleg Plas Dwbl (Ruskin Mill) using Steiner-based Practical Skills Therapeutic Education. She also has extensive experience as a Forest School Leader and creative workshop facilitator.
Holding a First-Class degree in Early Years Education and Care and an MSc in Psychology, Alicia’s practice is informed by expertise in trauma-informed care, attachment theory and inclusive learning. She brings a calm, patient presence to the Upper School, dedicated to building trusting relationships, fostering independence, and helping students thrive emotionally and academically.
