- West of England Steiner Teacher Training year 1
- Cache level 3 Early Years Educator
Donna has over ten years of teaching and leadership experience, prior to Cardiff Steiner School at Red River in Cornwall, having worked as a Class Teacher, Deputy Manager and specialist teacher in music, textiles and movement.
Donna’s practice is rooted in child development, and a belief that true learning happens when a curriculum speaks to the child’s inner experience. Known for her warmth, humour and creativity, Donna brings Main Lesson subjects to life through rich teaching, integrating literature, music and practical arts to deepen subject understanding and engage student’s growing capacity for critical thinking and creative expression.
With a background as a craftsperson and experienced sewing tutor, Donna brings a deep dedication to practical arts, teaching everything from hand-knitting and embroidery to dressmaking and weaving. Combined with her formal Early Years training (Distinction) and West of England Steiner Teacher Training (WESTT), Donna is passionate about partnering with parents to build a nurturing, grounded community where every child and young person feels seen, safe and inspired.
