We are very excited that our new Cardiff Steiner School ‘Breakfast Club’ and ‘After School Club’ are NOW OPEN and running Monday to Friday 8.00 to 9.00am and 3.30 to 6.00pm during term-time.

The Clubs are available for all Cardiff Steiner School children from age 3 to 13, and are held at the School, providing a safe, secure and enjoyable extension to the children’s day.

The introduction of the Clubs mean we can now offer full, term-time Kindergarten Care 8.00am to 6.00pm for 3 to 6 year olds at an amazing price of just £38.90 to £41.30 a day (depending on income). Normal nursery care in Cardiff is around £48 a day!

Breakfast Club with Cardiff Steiner School Teacher, Miss Beikircher, welcomes children with a nourishing breakfast of muesli/cereals and rice/almond milk, and provides a homely, caring environment until Kindergarten or Class starts.

After School Club is run by Cardiff Steiner School staff, Nicole German and Anna Cristoni-Apel, who have a wide experience of working with children, and a warm, calm and engaging presence. After School Club complements the children’s day. After a healthy snack and warm drink children can relax and choose from a range of creative activities (handcraft, music and more), indoor and outdoor games, or older children can do their homework, in a warm, homely and nurturing environment.

The cost for Breakfast Club is £2.50 per day for weekly sessions booked half termly in advance, or £4.00 for a Drop In session.

The cost for After School club is £8.00 per day for weekly sessions booked half termly in advance, or £13.00 for a Drop In session.

If you would prefer to send in your own healthy snack or tea, please feel free to do so.

After School Club is registered and regulated by Care Standards and Social Services in Wales (CSSIW) and fees qualify for the Tax Credit childcare element and Employee Childcare Vouchers, where applicable.
