Class 8/9 explore Identity

04 March 2020

Thank you to the students from UWC Atlantic College for running this morning’s workshop with Class 8/9 on Identity -‘IdentiTEA’.

‘IdentiTEA’ provides a safe space and supports skills for young people to discuss and understand identity. Through discussion and critical and creative thinking, students explored the nature of identity – how it is fluid, multi-faceted and ever changing – and how his relates to their own emerging sense of identity.

The workshop is part of Atlantic College’s community service projects, devised and run by its students. ‘IdentiTEA’ comes out of the students’ exploration of young people’s identity in conflict zones and its impact on individuals and community.
