Kindergarten Spring Festival

25 March 2023

Our Festivals are a wonderful way to come together as a community and celebate the turning of the year. Kindergarten’s Spring Festival is a magical day where children, parents and teachers come together and build a giant nest out of sticks, leaves and Spring flowers, in the hope that the Easter Hare will pay us a visit. Find out more below…

As the days begin to noticeably lengthen we start to feel the ‘outbreath’ that comes with this time of year. We know there may yet be cold, wet days ahead, but begin to notice those first Spring flowers, and look forward to those first days without coats and hats, and that sweet smell of Spring that makes you smile.

We celebrate the arrival of Spring in Kindergarten with our annual Spring Festival –  a magical day where our children, parents and teachers come together and build a giant nest out of sticks, twigs, leaves and Spring flowers, in the hope that the Easter Hare will pay us a visit. We share joyful songs and poems, hot cross buns, and a puppet show before the children go outside to see if the Easter Hare has left any eggs for them…

SSShhhh!
We also hold a secret Kindergarten Parent Egg-Painting Session in the run up to the Festival where our parents help the Easter Hare by painting eggs together. But sssh don’t tell the children.
